Minister of Justice: KUNA Has Established Itself as a Reliable Source of News and Information Over Five Decades, Contributing to Documenting the Nation's Journey

Kuwait City, 8 Oct (KUNA) -- Justice Minister and Advisor Nasser Al-Samait said that the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) has, over five decades, solidified its position as a reliable source of news and information, contributing to documenting the nation’s journey and conveying its positions and achievements to the world, based on accuracy, credibility, professionalism, and the dedicated efforts of its loyal staff, whose contributions we deeply value.

In a statement to KUNA on Thursday, marking the agency’s 50th anniversary, Advisor Al-Samait said, “I seize this occasion to commend KUNA’s role in following up on the work of the Ministry of Justice, highlighting its legislative initiatives, and its efforts to develop judicial services, as well as to appreciate the efforts made by its employees in conveying information to the public clearly and honestly.”

He extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to KUNA’s Acting Director General, Mohammed Al-Muna’i, and to all agency staff on the occasion of its golden jubilee and 50th anniversary, expressing his appreciation for its rich history of service to Kuwait and its national media mission.

He also expressed his hopes that KUNA and its staff would continue to enjoy success, achieve further progress and excellence, and carry on their national mission under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard them.
