Minister of Public Works: Accelerate road network maintenance according to approved standards and specified timeline

Kuwait City, 7 Oct (KUNA) -- Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan stressed on Wednesday the need to accelerate road network maintenance works in accordance with approved specifications and the set schedule, without compromising implementation quality. This came in a statement by Minister Al-Mashaan after she inspected asphalt layer paving works in the Al-Fanitees area of the Al-Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, where she listened to a briefing from the engineering team on the latest developments and stages of completion. She said the Public Works Ministry continues to implement its plan for maintaining the road network across various regions of the country, aiming to enhance its efficiency and improve safety for users. She affirmed that engineering teams would continue field monitoring at various sites to ensure compliance with approved specifications, noting that “we have directed the supervising teams to follow up on all implementation stages until completion according to the specified schedule,” emphasizing that “there will be no laxity regarding work quality.” (End) M.S.A.
