Bahraini Crown Prince: Bahrain-Saudi relations are moving towards greater partnership and cooperation on all fronts
Manama, Oct 6 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed on Tuesday that the historic fraternal relations between his country and the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, grounded in solid foundations and close ties, are advancing toward greater partnership and cooperation across all fields.
The Bahraini News Agency reported that these remarks were made during a meeting between the Bahraini Crown Prince and Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, at the Riffa Palace.
Sheikh Salman bin Hamad emphasized the commitment to building on the fruitful cooperation and effective partnerships achieved between the two brotherly countries across various sectors, and to further developing areas of cooperation and joint coordination in key industries, particularly energy and manufacturing, to create more specialized opportunities that contribute to realizing shared goals and aspirations.
He noted that Bahrain-Saudi relations receive continuous care and attention from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This support helps further develop cooperation and joint coordination, pushing them toward broader and more distinguished horizons that fulfill the shared aspirations of the two countries and their fraternal peoples.
He praised the progress in joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries, underpinned by the attention given to these fraternal relations by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing bilateral relations to higher levels that bring prosperity and development to both peoples.
He affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its security and sovereignty and to safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents.
For his part, the Saudi minister expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Bahraini Crown Prince for his continuous commitment and support to strengthening Bahrain-Saudi relations in all fields, contributing to achieving desired aspirations, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued prosperity and development.
