Kuwait City, 6 Oct (KUNA) -- The fifth round of political consultations between the Kuwaiti and Czech foreign ministries took place today in the Czech capital, Prague. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Czech side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Maria Chatarova.
According to a statement from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the consultations covered bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussions on the latest regional and international developments.
The consultations also featured a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding between the Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and the Czech Diplomatic Academy on cooperation in diplomatic training and capacity building. The document was signed on the Kuwaiti side by Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan and on the Czech side by Dana Kovarjikova, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy under the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
