Kuwait City, 6 Oct (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received, in the presence of Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi, Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and “Made in Italy,” and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed areas of cooperation between Kuwait and the friendly Italian Republic and discussed ways to enhance and develop such ties, particularly in economic, investment, and industrial sectors, as well as in supporting the business sector and fostering innovation, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two friendly nations.
Minister Urso expressed his sincere gratitude to Kuwait, represented by Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), for responding to the Italian government’s appeal to cap fuel prices, a move that reflects Q8’s strong concern for the economic conditions of Italian households.
