Riyadh, Oct 6 (KUNA) -- The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced on Tuesday that three people sustained minor injuries in two attacks that targeted King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport yesterday, as well as causing material damage. In a statement, the Authority said that emergency teams and relevant authorities responded to the attacks immediately upon their occurrence, in accordance with approved procedures and plans, and that the injured were transported to hospitals to receive necessary medical care. It added that the Authority is working in coordination and continuous collaboration with relevant security agencies to assess the damage and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff, and to safeguard the security and integrity of the Kingdom’s civil aviation system.
