Legitimacy Support Coalition: Military operation in Hodeidah destroys Houthi militia military targets

Riyadh, 5 October (KUNA) -- The official spokesperson for the coalition forces (the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen), Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced on Monday that the coalition’s naval forces carried out a military operation in Al-Hudaydah governorate, targeting and destroying legitimate military assets belonging to the Houthi militia. Speaking via his official account on the X platform, Brigadier General Al-Maliki said the operation resulted in the destruction of weapons depots, warehouses of rigged boats, and naval mines owned by the Houthi militia. He added that the operation helped thwart imminent attacks targeting waterways in the southern Red Sea, noting that it falls within the coalition’s objectives to safeguard maritime navigation security in the Bab al-Mandab strait.
