Bahraini Deputy PM: Bahrain-Kuwait relations are solid and under the patronage of both countries' leadership

Manama, Oct 5 (KUNA) – Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed today that Bahrain-Kuwait relations are solid and deep, enjoying mutual care and attention from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his brother, the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and guard them.
The Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain said in a statement received by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this came during Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah’s reception of Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, at his office in the Qudibiya Palace, on the occasion of his assuming his duties as Kuwait’s ambassador in Manama.
The statement added that Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the advanced levels of cooperation and joint coordination achieved between the two countries, thanks to the persistent follow-up by His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and his brother, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in a manner that realizes shared visions and brings prosperity and development to both countries and their fraternal peoples.
It noted that both sides praised the unique and robust nature of Bahrain-Kuwait relations during the meeting, emphasizing the importance of building on the cooperation and coordination achieved between the two countries to enhance the existing partnership and drive it toward further development in various fields.
The embassy clarified that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts that contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and bringing benefits to both countries and their fraternal peoples, expressing their aspiration to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in the economic and investment sectors, to the benefit of both countries and their fraternal peoples and to support the path of development and prosperity.
According to the statement, both sides emphasized during the meeting their commitment to continuing support for the joint Gulf work process and enhancing cooperation and coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in a manner that contributes to elevating the level of Gulf relations and realizing the aspirations of the Council’s countries and peoples.
The meeting also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm reception, reaffirming his full commitment to continuing diligent efforts to advance the path of close fraternal relations toward broader horizons of cooperation in various fields, and praying for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
