Kuwait City, 5 Oct (KUNA) – The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nizaha) organized a field training program for law students at Kuwait University for the fourth consecutive year, covering the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. The program, which runs until December, aims to enhance legal awareness among youth and bridge the gap between academic study and practical application.

In a press release, Nizaha stated that the program includes a series of specialized lectures delivered by experts from various organizational units within the authority, with the goal of familiarizing students with Nizaha’s mandates and its role in preventing and combating corruption.

The program covers several topics, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the mechanism for reviewing its implementation, as well as an introduction to corruption offenses, investigations, evidence collection, and related procedures. It also addresses the conditions for filing complaints, how to prepare complaint memoranda, monitoring corruption crimes, and protecting whistleblowers.

Additionally, the program covers the financial disclosure system, the law on the right to access information, strategic planning, the professional code of conduct, and corporate governance. (End) A.Z. / T.A.B.
