Jordanian King and US Secretary of State discuss bilateral and regional issues

Washington, Feb 2 (KUNA) – The U.S. State Department announced on Friday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio held telephone talks with Jordanian King Abdullah II, discussing the latest developments on regional issues and bilateral matters. The State Department said in a statement that the two sides discussed a range of bilateral and regional issues, including the implementation of the “tripartite framework” in Lebanon, the disarmament of Hezbollah, and the enhancement of stability in Syria.
