Kuwait City, 2 Feb (KUNA) – Kuwait’s Ambassador to Austria, Fawaz Bursali, presented his credentials as Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Friday, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Vienna conveyed that Ambassador Bursali, during his meeting with UNIDO Director-General Gerd Müller, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Kuwait and the Organization in areas of shared priority, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports efforts toward sustainable industrial development. Bursali stressed the importance of expanding cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two sides in several vital fields, foremost among them food security, supply chains, innovation, and digital transformation, thereby contributing to development and enhancing capacities in these areas.
