Tunis, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- The Arab Ministers of Interior Council strongly condemned on Thursday the attacks by Houthi militias on Saudi territory. The Council’s General Secretariat said in a statement that it received with deep outrage news of the attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on a facility in Medina that provides electricity to the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It expressed its firm condemnation and absolute denunciation of this cowardly terrorist attack, which constitutes a blatant provocation of Muslim sentiments and a flagrant violation of the sanctity of holy sites, and serves as yet another confirmation of the militia’s continued aggressive conduct and criminal pattern of deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. The Council reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its complete support for the measures it is taking to protect Islamic holy sites, safeguard its resources, and ensure the security, stability, and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
