Minister of Social Affairs Discusses with Tajikistan Ambassador Ways to Enhance Social Cooperation

Kuwait City, 1 Oct (KUNA) – Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Development, held talks today, Thursday, with Khosrow Nazari, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait, to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in social and family matters.

In a press release, the Ministry of Social Affairs stated that the meeting emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two countries, particularly in the areas of women’s protection, child care, and the integration of persons with disabilities. It also reviewed the key efforts and initiatives undertaken by the relevant authorities in both countries in these fields.

The ministry noted that both sides reaffirmed the depth of relations between Kuwait and Tajikistan and stressed the importance of structuring their joint cooperation through memoranda of understanding that would broaden the scope of collaboration and facilitate the exchange of expertise.

For his part, Ambassador Nazari expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for the humanitarian aid and development projects they have provided, which have contributed to supporting the Republic of Tajikistan.
