"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, may God protect and guard him; His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, may God protect him; Your Excellencies, Ministers; Your Excellencies, members of the diplomatic corps; and our distinguished guests:
We welcome you with the warmest greetings. We gather today on a distinguished national and cultural occasion: the opening of the third phase of the Martyr’s Garden. We celebrate a new achievement added to Kuwait’s civilizational journey and a new cultural and artistic landmark: the Al-Sour Theater. These achievements take us toward the future while remaining rooted in our national identity and heritage, serving as a place where Kuwait’s memory meets its present and the aspirations of its coming generations.
As we celebrate this achievement, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the prominent artists, stars, all participants in this national performance, the working teams, government entities, and participating institutions for their significant efforts in making this national occasion a success.
We also extend our sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to our partners in this major national celebration: National Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Al-Shaya Group, Ooredoo Kuwait, and Binstar Al-Yousif Company. We appreciate their generous initiatives and active contributions in producing this celebration, and we take pride in their role as partners in the success of this major national and cultural event.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of this occasion is that the Al-Sour Theater begins its artistic journey with a performance bearing its name: the major national theatrical play "Al-Sour" (The Wall). This play evokes the epic of Kuwait’s walls across generations, highlighting values of unity, solidarity, loyalty to the nation, and unity around wise leadership.
May God protect Kuwait and perpetuate upon it the blessings of security, safety, and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him. May our beloved nation continue its path of goodness, giving, progress, and prosperity.
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of God and His blessings."
A group of prominent artists and stars presented the national celebratory artistic performance "Al-Sour," which depicted through its artistic and acrobatic scenes key moments in Kuwait’s history and national journey. The performance evoked values of cohesion, loyalty, and belonging to the nation, as well as the spirit of mutual support and solidarity among the people and heroes, especially during crises, and their unity around wise leadership. It also highlighted the enduring national legacy passed down through generations.
A commemorative gift was presented to His Highness’s representative on this occasion.
Following the ceremony, His Highness’s representative toured the third phase of the Martyr’s Garden, inspecting the external and internal facilities, which include cultural, tourism, and entertainment areas, as well as commercial projects and logistical services within the garden.
His Highness’s representative departed the venue with the same warmth and appreciation with which he was received.
