Kuwait SC basketball team advances to West Asia Basketball League semifinals after defeating Indian Railways

Beirut, September 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC’s basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the West Asia Basketball League (WABL) after defeating India’s Indian Railways 106-101 in the final match of the third round of the tournament held in Lebanon. Kuwait SC secured the victory in the final seconds of the game by a five-point margin, setting up a highly anticipated semifinal clash against Lebanon’s Al-Hekmeh. The match was thrilling from the outset, as Kuwait established control by taking a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter, then extended the advantage in the second quarter to finish the first half with a 56-38 score. The Indian team mounted a comeback in the third and fourth quarters, narrowing the gap and attempting to overturn the result, but Kuwait managed to seal the win and secure their spot in the semifinals as the final buzzer sounded.
