Housing Minister leads Kuwait delegation to the 24th GCC Housing Ministers' Meeting in Bahrain

Manama, Sept 30 (KUNA) – Kuwait participated in the 24th meeting of the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Housing Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Manama today, Wednesday. The Kuwaiti delegation was led by the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Mutairi, as part of the activities of the Fourth Gulf Housing Week.

In a press release, the Public Authority for Housing Welfare stated that Kuwait’s participation aims to enhance Gulf housing cooperation, exchange expertise and experiences in the field of housing care, and contribute to supporting joint efforts to develop housing work among GCC member states.

It added that the activities of the Fourth Gulf Housing Week included a number of meetings, dialogue sessions, and topics related to the housing sector, alongside discussions on ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences and expertise among member states.

The Kuwaiti delegation presented the country’s housing experience and the latest developments in projects and steps taken to bring real estate developers into operation and to qualify specialized companies to begin the actual implementation of projects.

The Kuwaiti delegation includes Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi; Acting Deputy Director General for Planning and Design, Engineer Rasha Al-Adwani; Director of the Design Department, Engineer Nasser Al-Saeed; and Director of the Minister’s Office, Sabah Al-Otaibi.
