Kuwait City, 30 September (KUNA) – The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, held discussions with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Ali Al Mahmoud, on issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in a manner that serves their shared interests.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior said in a press statement on Wednesday that the talks took place during Sheikh Fahad’s reception of the Qatari Ambassador and his deputy, First Secretary Jassem Al-Abdulkader.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior emphasized the deep historical and fraternal ties between the two countries, noting their ongoing development across various fields, and expressed his wishes for Qatar and its brotherly people to continue progressing and prospering.
For his part, the Qatari Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for the warm reception, praising the deep fraternal relations between the two countries and wishing Kuwait and its people continued security, progress, and prosperity.
