Cairo, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Engineers Association stressed today the importance of involving Kuwaiti professional and youth expertise in Arab forums to exchange experiences and practices, thereby contributing to supporting the course of joint Arab work and enhancing cooperation between professional and youth institutions. This was stated by the association’s secretary-general, Engineer Fahad Al-Attiyah, in an interview with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) during the participation of an association delegation in the proceedings of the Second Arab Youth Leadership Forum, which launched yesterday in Cairo under the patronage of the Arab League, in cooperation with the Arab Council for Integrated Youth Development.

Al-Attiyah said, “The participation underscores the importance of communication among Arab talents and the exchange of experiences, as well as opening new horizons for cooperation in fields related to development and joint Arab work.” He added that “the participation of a select group of young leaders and figures, along with representatives of civil society organizations from Arab countries, gave the forum considerable momentum, enabling the exchange of experiences and practices and the presentation of practical initiatives that enhance cooperation among Arab youth and support efforts toward development and joint Arab work.”

In this context, he praised the role of the Arab Council for Integrated Youth Development in organizing the forum and bringing together young Arab talents and leaders, with the aim of strengthening communication, exchanging experiences, and supporting the role of youth in the process of development and joint Arab work.

The forum honored the Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the Arab League, Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi, in appreciation of his role in supporting the course of joint Arab work and his contributions to enhancing cooperation and communication. It also honored several Kuwaiti youths in recognition of their contributions and role in supporting youth initiatives and joint Arab work.

Alongside Al-Attiyah, the Kuwait Engineers Association was represented at the forum by Engineers Hamoud Al-Hadida and Abdullah Mashhan.

The forum aims to strengthen communication among Arab youth leaders and talents, provide a platform for exchanging experiences and practices, and explore ways to support development and joint Arab work. (End) M.M. / A.M.S.
