Kuwait City, 30 September (KUNA) – The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, emphasized the importance of strengthening the principles of governance and transparency in administrative and financial operations, and of continuing to develop work mechanisms to help achieve the Authority’s strategic objectives and enhance its role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its stakeholders.
According to a statement from the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Al-Youssef, while chairing the Authority’s Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday with board members in attendance, stressed the importance of continuing to implement the Authority’s development plans and programs, and of raising the level of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers in line with the state’s direction toward developing public sector work and enhancing performance efficiency.
The meeting discussed several agenda items and reviewed recent developments and the Authority’s plans aimed at improving institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of the work system, thereby supporting efforts to regulate the labor market in the State of Kuwait. (End) A.J.R.
