Kuwait City, Sept 29 (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the arrest of 12 suspects in eight separate cases involving the possession of narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume, as well as alcoholic beverages, a firearm, ammunition, and cash.
In a press release, the ministry stated that these seizures were part of the efforts undertaken by the International Combating Department, the Local Combating Department, and the Intelligence Department to combat drug and psychoactive substance trafficking and apprehend those involved.
The operations resulted in the seizure of quantities of Lyrica, hashish, methamphetamine, liquids and leaves soaked with “Chemical,” hashish oil, psychoactive tablets, locally produced alcoholic beverages, sensitive scales, a firearm, a quantity of ammunition, and a sum of money derived from sales.
