Bahraini Crown Prince affirms deep, distinguished historical ties with the United Kingdom

Manama, September 29 (KUNA) – Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa reaffirmed today, Tuesday, the distinguished historical ties linking his country with the United Kingdom across all fields, particularly in the military and defense sectors, in light of the partnerships and joint agreements shared by the two countries, including the Comprehensive Agreement on Security Integration and Prosperity, which contributes to achieving common goals and aspirations.

Bahrain’s state news agency (BNA) reported that these remarks were made during a meeting between the Bahraini Crown Prince and British Army Commander General Sir Patrick Sanders, along with his delegation, at the Riffa Palace. Prince Salman emphasized the mutual commitment to continuing to strengthen and develop coordination and joint efforts, and to advancing the strategic partnership across various dimensions, for the benefit and prosperity of both countries and their peoples.
