UAE President Discusses Strengthening Cooperation and Regional Developments with Turkish Foreign Minister

Abu Dhabi, September 28 (KUNA) – The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, today held talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on avenues of cooperation and joint action between the two countries, and on ways to further strengthen ties in a manner that serves their shared interests. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the discussion took place during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s reception of the Turkish Foreign Minister, during which the two sides examined a number of issues and topics of mutual interest. The agency added that the meeting focused, among other matters, on regional developments and the efforts undertaken to consolidate security and stability in the Middle East region and to advance a path toward sustainable peace, in the interests of all the peoples and states of the region.
