Qatar condemns bombing targeting a security checkpoint in Pakistan

Doha, 28 September (KUNA) -- Qatar expressed its condemnation and rejection today, Monday, of the bombing that targeted a security checkpoint in the Dera Ismail Khan region of Pakistan, which resulted in casualties and injuries. In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes. The ministry conveyed Qatar’s condolences to the victims’ families and to the government and people of Pakistan, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. (End) S S S / M M J
