Kuwait, Sept 28 (KUNA) — Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks with Jarno Siriala, Deputy Minister for International Trade Affairs of the friendly Republic of Finland, on key issues of mutual interest. The General Staff of the Army said in a press statement that the discussions took place during Lt. Gen. Al-Sharhan’s reception of the Finnish Deputy Minister for International Trade Affairs, during which they examined areas of military cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop such cooperation in the interest of their shared objectives. Also present at the meeting were Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mishaal Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Defense; Juha Mustonen, Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Finland to Kuwait; and several senior commanding officers of the Army.
