Kuwait City, 28 September (KUNA) – State Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Media and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, reviewed the latest preparations and arrangements for organizing the 49th edition of the Kuwait International Book Fair. The Ministry of Media said in a press statement on Monday that this came during a meeting between Minister Al-Omar and members of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the 49th Kuwait International Book Fair. The ministry added that committee members reviewed the progress of work and the planned arrangements for holding this cultural event, along with discussing several items on the committee’s agenda. Minister Al-Omar emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of continuing coordination among relevant authorities to complete preparations at the highest standards and to enhance the cultural stature of the Kuwait International Book Fair, which is considered one of the most prominent cultural events in the State of Kuwait.
