Yemen national team faces Qatar, while Bahrain meets UAE today in the 27th Gulf Cup football tournament

Jeddah, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- The Yemen national team will face Qatar today in Sunday’s second-round matches of Group 2 of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleej Al-Arab 27), held in the Saudi city of Jeddah. Meanwhile, Bahrain will take on the United Arab Emirates. The Yemen-Qatar match is scheduled for 6:55 p.m. at King Abdullah Sports City, while the Bahrain-UAE clash will kick off at 9:00 p.m. at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium. Both Qatar and the UAE enter the second round with three points each, after Qatar defeated Bahrain 2-0 and the UAE beat Yemen 4-0 in the opening round.
