Saudi Joint Forces Commander Discusses with Member of Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council the Enhancement of Joint Efforts

Riyadh, September 26 (KUNA) -- Saudi Joint Forces Commander Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Salman held talks today with Tariq Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and commander of the Yemeni National Resistance, on developments in the Yemeni landscape and ways to enhance and coordinate joint efforts to bolster the readiness of the Yemeni Armed Forces across all fronts and axes to restore the state and its national institutions.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the meeting took place at the Joint Forces Command headquarters in Riyadh. During the talks, the Joint Forces Commander expressed his gratitude to Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh for his leadership role within the Presidential Leadership Council and his command of the National Resistance forces, as well as for the significant sacrifices made by the National Resistance and its members in the battle to restore the state and end the coup.

For his part, Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh praised the role of the Joint Forces Command and the unlimited support it has provided to the Yemeni Armed Forces and the National Resistance forces to enhance their capabilities. He commended the efforts made to unify ranks and rehabilitate the forces to carry out their national duties.

He affirmed his confidence in the members of the Yemeni Armed Forces and their determination to fulfill their national obligations, stressing the importance of enhancing readiness, coordination, and the integration of efforts in line with the requirements of the coming stage.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unity of ranks, unification of efforts, integration of roles, and continued coordination and joint work to boost morale, rehabilitate units, and raise their combat readiness in the battle to restore the state and its institutions, thereby contributing to realizing the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and building the future.
