Two killed, including a child, in continued Israeli occupation strikes on Gaza Strip

Gaza - 26 - 9 (KUNA) -- The health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that two Palestinians, including a child, were killed and several others, including children, were injured following continuous targeting and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces against gatherings of civilians in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

In a press statement, the health authorities said that one Palestinian was killed and another injured after a group of citizens was targeted northwest of the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Strip. The body of the deceased was transferred to Al-Awda Hospital, while the injured received the necessary medical treatment.

In the southern part of the Strip, a Palestinian child was killed after Israeli occupation vehicles opened fire on civilians in the Rafah orchards area. The body was subsequently transferred to the Red Cross field hospital west of the city before being moved to Al-Nasser Medical Complex.

Additionally, several Palestinians, including a girl, were injured after a group of citizens was targeted in the Khan Younis orchards area in the southern part of the Strip.
