Foreign Minister signs visa waiver agreement with Salvadoran counterpart

New York, 26 Sep (KUNA) -- Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed an agreement with Alexandra Hill Tinoco, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of El Salvador, on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special, and official passports between the Government of the State of Kuwait and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on Saturday morning that the signing took place during a meeting on Friday between Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Alexandra Hill Tinoco, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of El Salvador, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The statement added that the meeting included a review of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, as well as discussions on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
