Qatari Prime Minister Discusses Latest Regional Developments and De-escalation Efforts with Iranian President in New York

Doha, Sept. 25 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday the latest developments in the region and efforts to de-escalate tensions.

In a statement, the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the meeting, held at the Iranian President’s residence in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, also focused on creating favorable conditions for dialogue to enhance regional security and stability.
