Kremlin: Discussing holding a meeting between Moscow, Washington, and Kyiv on Ukraine

Moscow, 25 Sep (KUNA) -- Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Administration (the Kremlin), announced on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart, Donald Trump, discussed the possibility of holding a meeting with Ukraine’s participation, without reaching specific details regarding its date or location.

Russian media quoted Peskov as saying that Moscow remains open to resuming trilateral talks among Moscow, Washington, and Kyiv, “at a time when no final arrangements for holding the meeting have yet emerged.”

This comes amid ongoing Russian-American communications regarding a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

Available information indicates that the format of the trilateral meeting is still under consideration and subject to diplomatic consultations.

The Kremlin had previously stated that Russia does not rule out resuming the trilateral track with the United States and Ukraine, while Kyiv indicated that Washington had proposed preparations for a trilateral meeting at the technical level, with the United Arab Emirates suggested as a potential venue.
