State Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs Motivates the Blue Team Players and Affirms Continued Competition in the 27th Gulf Cup

Jeddah, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- State Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, urged the Kuwaiti national football team on Thursday to deliver a better performance in upcoming matches, affirming that the competition remains alive and that the "Blue" team still has the opportunity to achieve positive results in the Gulf Arab Cup (Gulf Cup 27).

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) while attending the team's training session, the minister praised the players' fighting spirit and their determination to continue working hard and overcome the effects of their recent loss. He emphasized the importance of focus and making every effort in the forthcoming encounters.

Al-Jalahma reaffirmed his full support for the players as well as the technical and administrative staff, calling on the players to maintain their high morale and deliver a performance that reflects the aspirations of the Kuwaiti fans.

The Kuwaiti national team resumed training today in preparation for their match against Iraq in the Gulf Arab Cup football tournament (Gulf Cup 27).

It is worth noting that Kuwait lost its first match against Saudi Arabia 1-0, while Iraq drew 1-1 with Oman.
