(Gulf Cup 27): UAE defeats Yemen 4-0

Jeddah, 24 Sep (KUNA) -- The UAE national team defeated Yemen 4-0 on Thursday in Group B of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27), a group that also includes Qatar and Bahrain.

Nicolas Gimenez opened the scoring for the UAE in the 26th minute, followed by an own goal by Nader Saheel in the 36th minute. Luana Pereira added the third goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Gimenez scored his second goal of the match in the 51st minute, sealing a 4-0 victory for the UAE.
