Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives Irish Prime Minister in New York

New York, 24 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Excellency Mr. Michael Martin, Prime Minister of Ireland, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly State of Ireland and ways to develop them to serve the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. They also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mishaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States of America; His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Banai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and His Excellency Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
