Kuwait condemns Houthi militia's ballistic missile launches targeting the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu

Kuwait - 24 - 9 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia's launch of ballistic missiles toward the cities of Taif and Yanbu in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It affirmed its categorical rejection of the recurrence of these shameful hostile aggressions, which constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry reaffirmed the State of Kuwait's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside it, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents. It emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
