Saudi Civil Defense Issues Early Warning in Mecca, Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, and Tabuk

Jeddah, Sept 24 (KUNA) – The Saudi Civil Defense issued an early warning on Thursday for the city of Mecca and the provinces of Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, and the Tabuk region, urging the public to follow safety guidelines and official instructions. In a statement, the Civil Defense called for calm and directed people to immediately move to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, and to remain there until the danger has passed. It advised against leaving homes or buildings, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops.
