Foreign Minister Participates in UN Event to Protect Palestinian Children and Support Their Needs

New York, September 24 (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah participated in a high-level event titled “Call to Action for Children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip,” which addressed ways to enhance the protection of Palestinian children and meet their basic needs. The event was held on Wednesday evening at United Nations headquarters in New York, jointly organized by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Belgium, and the European Union, on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The event discussed the humanitarian situation facing children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, ways to strengthen their protection, and support for efforts to provide them with essential care and services.
