Kuwait participates in a ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and ASEAN in New York

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- Ambassador Hamad Al-Mari, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Affairs, participated on Wednesday in the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), held on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting discussed the follow-up to the outcomes of the second GCC-ASEAN Summit and ways to enhance and develop opportunities for cooperation between the two sides in various fields. It also examined a number of regional and international issues and developments of mutual interest, with participants exchanging views on them.
