Deputy Emir and Prime Minister Receives the President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Investment Group in New York

New York, September 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received today Mr. Jonathan Gray, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the global investment firm Blackstone, and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting took place at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York.

The discussion focused on opportunities for joint investment cooperation between Kuwait and Blackstone, as well as global economic developments and investment opportunities. It also explored ways to create opportunities for investing in national human capital, thereby contributing to the development of their capabilities, honing their skills, and leveraging global expertise in investment fields.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi; H.E.
