The Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives the Grand Duke of Luxembourg in New York

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, and his best wishes for the Grand Duke’s good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its friendly people.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and ways to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Banai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
