The Representative of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, received in New York the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen.

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today Dr. Abdullah Al-Aleimi Bawazir, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the sister Republic of Yemen, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting discussed the fraternal bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the sister Republic of Yemen, and ways to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
