GCC Secretary-General Discusses with Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Strengthening Relations and Regional Developments

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, met with the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and review several proposals aimed at their development.

The GCC Secretariat-General said in a statement on Wednesday that the meeting took place on Tuesday evening on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

It added that the two sides reviewed the situation in the region and its impact on regional and international security and stability.
