Palestinian youth killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire west of Ramallah

Ramallah, Sept. 23 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian General Commission for Civil Affairs stated on Wednesday evening that a Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli occupation forces near a military checkpoint west of Ramallah in the West Bank.

In a press statement, the Commission said it had informed the Ministry of Health of the killing of Mahmoud Sulaiman, 29, by occupation forces near the village of Beit Aour west of Ramallah, and the detention of his body.

In a related development, sources reported that occupation forces opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle, killing the driver, claiming it had collided with an occupation patrol that included a female police officer and a soldier, resulting in the soldier being injured.
