Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives Somali President at the Kuwaiti Delegation to the United Nations in New York

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Excellency Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, to the Somali President, wishing him good health and lasting security, stability, and development for the Federal Republic of Somalia and its brotherly people.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Federal Republic of Somalia and ways to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. It also covered the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi, H.E. Ambassador Tariq Mohammed Al-Bunai, the Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations, and H.E. Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
