Gaza, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Health authorities in the Gaza Strip said the number of Palestinians killed since Wednesday morning rose to six, as a series of raids by Israeli occupation aircraft continued against civilian targets in various parts of the Strip. In a press statement, the health authorities said the death toll since Wednesday morning reached six Palestinians due to Israeli strikes on Gaza, noting that two of them died from injuries sustained earlier, while efforts to admit the wounded continued amid the severe pressure facing hospitals in the Strip.
This came after Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a raid on a group of Palestinian civilians near Al-Wafa’ Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the death of one Palestinian and injuring several others, who were transported to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the western part of the city for treatment.
