Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait receives the CEO of BlackRock on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly

New York, September 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, representative of His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and support him, received Mr. Larry Fink, Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock, and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday evening at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed and discussed economic and investment topics of mutual interest, and examined the latest global developments in the fields of investment and financial markets, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides. They also emphasized the importance of developing human resources and investing in national competencies through the exchange of expertise and knowledge transfer, which would strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy and support the achievement of sustainable development goals.
