Representative of His Highness the Amir receives Goldman Sachs CEO on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly

New York, 23 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received on Tuesday evening Mr. David Solomon, Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs, and his accompanying delegation, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation were discussed, along with several economic and developmental issues and promising investment opportunities in Kuwait. The discussion also covered investing in national human capital to develop leadership and technical skills and build a workforce capable of keeping pace with rapid transformations in the investment and financial markets sectors. The latest economic developments in the regional and international arenas were also reviewed.
