Deputy Emir and Crown Prince of Kuwait Participates in Meeting of Arab and Islamic Leaders and Heads of Delegations with the US President

New York, September 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, representing His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State, participated today in the joint meeting hosted by His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, a friendly nation. The meeting was attended by Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses, the leaders and heads of delegations of several Arab and Islamic countries participating in the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

During the meeting, the rapidly evolving developments and serious new developments in the region were discussed and reviewed, particularly the despicable Iranian aggression against countries in the region, the safety and freedom of maritime navigation, and global energy supplies, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip. The meeting also emphasized the importance of strategic partnership and close, continuous coordination with the United States of America to enhance regional and international security and support efforts toward de-escalation and establishing the foundations of comprehensive and just peace in the region.
