Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Meets President of Lithuania in New York

New York, 22 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met today with His Excellency Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, and his accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was held on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the Lithuanian President, wishing him good health and further development and prosperity for the Republic of Lithuania and its friendly people.

The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and discussed prospects for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments.

Attending the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; and His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
