Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir of the State, Meets President of Latvia in New York

New York, 22 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met today with His Excellency Edgars Rinkevics, President of the Republic of Latvia, and his accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, to the President, wishing him good health and continued progress and prosperity for the Republic of Latvia and its friendly people.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Latvia, ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

Attending the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; and His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
